Welcome to the
Toledo YES Project!

"I am very impressed with the YES Project.  This summer [from July 21 - 23, 2011] I had 14 teenagers and two supervisors at my house.  It was one of the most pleasant experiences of my 92 years.  May God bless all of you!" - From a thank you letter Mrs. Irene Ruppel, an elderly homeowner, wrote to us.

The Toledo YES Project is a unique opportunity for high school students from the Toledo area to come together to do as Jesus did: to love and to serve those who are most in need.

Each year the project consists of over 150 youth and nearly 70 adult volunteers coming together for four days and doing Christian service in and around Toledo, Ohio. We have as many as 15 sites throughout the greater Toledo area where we will scrape, paint, clean, landscape, and perform any other tasks that may be needed to improve the living situation of those we are helping.  The ultimate goal is to spread the love of Christ and His message of hope to those who need it most.

Most of our work consists of helping private homeowners who are physically and/or financially unable to maintain or improve their homes.  We have also helped at various non-profit groups, including women’s shelters, family shelters, community centers, churches and homeless outreach facilities.

So have a look around our website!  The Toledo YES Project is an open and welcoming community.  If you think you may be interested in being a part of it, please contact us!

May God be praised both now and forever!
