Junior Crew
What is a Junior Crew Member?
To be a part of our Junior Crew, you must be:
graduated from high school
between 18 and 21 years old
open to being the bridge between the high school students in your crew and the adult volunteers
Responsibilities
Assist with all site work — painting, landscaping, and other tasks as needed.
For painting projects, Junior Crew leaders work on extension ladders to reach the high points of houses. Accommodations can be made if you are not comfortable with heights.
Transport crew supplies, water, sports drinks, and other materials to and from the work site each day.
Serve as the bridge between adult leaders and high school participants: keeping energy high and helping participants get the most out of the week.
Stay overnight at the host parish for the duration of the project to help ensure participant safety and appropriate behavior.
