Parents

What Parents Should Know

The Toledo YES Project provides a safe, faith-filled environment where your child can serve others, meet new peers from high school around the Toledo area, and grow in their relationship with God

All adult volunteers complete background checks and VIRTUS Protecting Youth training through the Diocese of Toledo

The project takes place over fours days (Wednesday to Saturday) where your children will work on a crew supervised by our Junior Crew leaders and adult volunteers

Each day, our participants shower at local area high schools, local YMCAs, the University of Toledo

All meals, site supplies, and safety equipment are provided by the YES Project for our participants

Students can earn 24 service hours for school requirements (students must be in attendance for the entirety of the project to receive service hours)

How Can I Get Involved

Volunteer

If you feel called to offer your time and talent to the project, we would love to have you! We are flexible with our adult volunteers and have several different ways that they can volunteer their time. Check out our Adult Volunteer page for more information.

Donate

Maybe you don’t have time during the week to help volunteer, but you still want to contribute to making the week a success? We rely on the generous donations of people like you to make our annual project successful each year.

Advocate

Maybe you want to see what the Toledo YES Project is all about for your child’s first year! Even spreading the word on the good we accomplish in the Toledo community whether on social media or by word of mouth is greatly appreciated!
